FEMA chief Brown removed from Katrina relief

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (Reuters) - The director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Michael Brown, under fire over the relief efforts after Hurricane Katrina, has been pulled off operations in the Gulf Coast, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff announced on Friday.
