Mayor to reopen parts of New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (Reuters) - New Orleans took a big step toward recovery from Hurricane Katrina on Thursday when its mayor declared parts of the city would reopen at the weekend, and President George W. Bush prepared to unveil a strategy to get the devastated Gulf region back on its feet.
