Merkel, Schroeder both claim victory in German vote

BERLIN (Reuters) - Voters plunged Germany into political limbo on Sunday, splitting their ballots between Angela Merkel's conservatives and Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder's Social Democrats so closely that both claimed victory.
