New Orleans begs residents to leave, some refuse

NEW ORLEANS (Reuters) - New Orleans' mayor warned that floating oil and leaking gas posed major threats to life and pleaded with stubborn residents on Tuesday to leave the city devastated over a week ago by Hurricane Katrina.
