Stragglers' resistance waning

It's dark. It's shirt-soaking hot in the swamp that is now New Orleans. And the only word to describe the heavy odor of death and bacteria is "indescribable." But officials believe thousands of residents remain and some may have to be forced to evacuate the city full of health dangers.
